moccasins UPDATED W/ PICS
are they totally lame? i love them, and wear them often in fall and spring, often with skinny jeans and skinny black pants. my sister, who is 23 and pretty fashionable, makes fun of me for wearing them and has given me a bit of a complex, but not enough to stop wearing them, as i just ordered myself two pairs of minnetonka's.  so what do you think: lame or not?

For me, it's hit or miss. I can't bring myself to buy them for myself but I think they can look cute on others. I would look stupid in them, I'm sure !

Not lame, I think they are adorable! I wear the fleece lined ones in winter and I have a regular pair (Minnetonka Kilty) for spring. They mesh well with my wardrobe though, so I think that helps.

I have one pair of minnetonkas with the fur inside but I wear them in the house as slippers. I wouldn't wear them outside of the house though.

I haven't found a pair I love, but I would give them a whirl. I think they're kinda cute if they have Native American-esque beading on the front.
I'd wear them with some cut up skinny jeans/boyfriend jeans, a loose white tee shirt and a long gold necklace. Image Attachment(s):

Do you mean a classic driving moc? Or those things that look like slippers?
I don't go out of the houxse in anything that looks like a slipper. But I think driving mocs with slim pants/jeans looks polished. - I have a pretty classic/preppy style though.
I also have pair of Sanuk that I wear in the spring/summer that I LOVE - DH makes fun of them and calls them hippie shoes. But they are still pretty plain, clean lines etc. -

I love mine and think they're adorable. Not every style is going to work for every body. I don't think they are sloppy looking and I don't think you've given up on yourself if you wear them. Enjoy them!

I don't wear the ones that look like slippers outside, but the leather driving moc, those I love to wear. They are very preppy.

I don't wear them. But I agree with the above. Imagine what a boring world this would be if everyone was the same!

I would never wear them.
I do think on a very rare occasion if someone has impeccable fashion sense they can look ok. . . But this is not very often. I normally hate them.

I always liked them. I haven't found a pair that I liked in a long time but I always check them out when I shop. To me they are like any other flats.
