Mock cycle- update
Has anyone ever done a mock cycle?
Update: And of course since this is a mock cycle..... everything is perfect. My lining is better than it ever was on meds, 8.5mm and triple stripe. And I have 2 follies 14mm and 16mm. All this and NO drugs.
I guess my body likes to do things its own way. Dr. Scholl asked me again if I wanted to go through with FET this month because everything is "perfect".
Of course I cant because of other things in my life that are up in te air right now. But hopefully this is a sign of good things to come.

Re: Mock cycle
No, not a trial transfer. I am going to go in for monitoring like I was doing a regular cycle, but I am not going to go through with transfer. We want to see what my body does on its own.
When I first learned about this a few weeks ago (The covering RE thought I was doing one) I thought it was hysterical that someone would do it just for shhits and giggles, and now I am actually doing it.
We are planning to do a natural FET, so I want to know how my body will react ahead of time, before I am emotionally invested and without risking my precious embies to find out.

That sounds interesting - not a lot of fun, but interesting to see what the results will be and like you say without precious embies. Scholl ordered that? So you'll do the shots & everything? Wow. Good luck with it, I hope that you get some answers.

Re: Mock cycle
I thought Melijane did a cycle where they just monitored her a few months ago, but I'm not sure. I haven't done one so I can't offer any advice.

Re: Mock cycle
I am doing it now, and it is VERY interesting. I am about CD10 and my body is better prepared now with NO drugs than it was after 2 1/2 weeks on meds. Go figure

Re: Mock cycle
Melijane did do a mock cycle. I would FM her if I were you!
Good luck. I think its a great idea. If they see what your body does naturally, its the best way to know what they need to do to treat any issues (which hopefully there aren't any).

I did this. I was confused at first by your question. here were my results:
Naturally, My biggest follie was 16.5, my estradiol was around 150? After O my progesterone was around 7.
After Clomid I had two follies one 19 mm and one at 22.5 mm(right before O) I also took Ovidrel. My estradiol was around 440 and after O my progesterone was 21.4(I have NEVER had that high of a number!) HTH

Re: Mock cycle- update
Update: And of course since this is a mock cycle..... everything is perfect. My lining is better than it ever was on meds, 8.5mm and triple stripe. And I have 2 follies 14mm and 16mm. All this and NO drugs.
I guess my body likes to do things its own way. Dr. Scholl asked me again if I wanted to go through with FET this month because everything is "perfect".
Of course I cant because of other things in my life that are up in te air right now. But hopefully this is a sign of good things to come.

Re: Mock cycle- update
I can't believe you are in this situation - will the good Dr consider using a 'mock' cycle for the real FET?

If your Dr suggests it maybe you should consider going forward with it. Good luck

Re: Mock cycle- update
How weird is that? Maybe your right and your body objects to the drugs? If the time isn't right for you now at least now you know that body reacts well in the mock cycle! That is good news! I'm really happy for you

The timing is just wrong right now. I discussed my reasons with my doctor and even he agreed. BUt the good thing is this is what my body does on my own.
