Mommies delivering at Winthrop.....UPDATED WITH PICS
make sure that after you have the baby and they clean the baby up that they dont spike the babys hair(unless you like that)
because they took DDs first baby photo and her hair is spiked and she is a girl
they also did this to grlygirl33s DD in her pics
Also make sure they have the baby awake....DD is much cuter with her eyes open Image Attachment(s):

OMG, I cant believe this happened to u too!! 
My sis just had my niece and she just got her pics and the same thing happened to her! The pics look nothing like what she looks like now!!
Im so telling them no to spike my daughters hair!

And I think that if spiked hair is your biggest complaint about a hospital you should feel pretty lucky!!

Awww...my niece's eyes were closed too.
ETA: she is adorble.
I hear ya though, you pay for these pics and something you have for life. She will look back and be like, Mom...y was my hair spiked?

I didn't think of it as spiked, I thought it was curled! Anyhow, one way or another, I thought it was so cute!

This might be a general comment because my friend recently delivered at Good Sam and they spiked her girls hair the whole time she was there too.
She's adorable, with and without the spikes!

I think it looks cute too! When I went they cleaned him up well and did not spike his hair. I wanted to buy the pictures but DH didnt like that one arm was swaddled and the other wasnt so I returned it all. I have so many pictures in the hospital anyway.

I have a friend who used to take these pics at the hosptial for one of the companies and while they look cuter with their eyes open, they do stuff like stick their fingers (with gloves on) into their mouths and stuff to wake them up. I'd prefer that they left my baby sleeping, JMO.

I would think that considering they're only hours/a day old when the pic is taken, that their eyes will almost always be closed. Isn't there a lot of swelling and whatnot.

We didn't buy the ones of my son at winthrop. I had someone come in and take pictures about 6 days after he was born.

Just so you guys know don't expect much from these pics. They are taken by the nurses who are not professional photographers and don't have a lot of time. We took our own pictures of DD when she was in the hospital. I never bothered with the ones the hospital took.
