Mommies who know the gender of their babies...
What did/do you crave while pregnant?? Did you fall under the "old wives tales" (sweets for girls/sour for boys/etc)?
With DS everything vegetable and fresh, I would not eat anything but salads with vinaigrette dressings, avocados and veggies with hummus.
This time around, NOTHING healthy... at.all. Cravings, chocolate milk, bagels covered in cream cheese AND butter (I gag just think of it - but somehow I eat it and want more ), pudding, and everything with cheese.
I only gained 25lbs with DS and he was 8lb 6oz... I have a feeling I'm going to be a house with this one...

I am having Sweet, salty, sour, fresh, healthy, junk, carbs...
Whenever someone posts something about food, I want it!
Like THANKS Diana... I have to call my mom now and tell her to bring Entenmann's chocolate chip cookies when she comes to visit. And I got Marie's creamy ranch dressing because Prunpie posted about it. Someone on the F&R board posted about ripe bananas... guess who ran out to get ingredients and made banana bars with cream cheese frosting? YES this little piggy went to the market

Re: Mommies who know the gender of their babies...
Im actually the opposite LOL with my dd all i wanted was healthy stuff salads, fruit (which i normally cant stand), string cheese, and veggies. With this baby (I know the gender is a ) I am eating really gross LOL cookies, cake, candy, almost everyday for lunch i have a chicken burrito that is huge. I lost 10 lbs my first trimester but im sure making up for it now at 24 weeks

I didn't find out the sex with my DD1 and DS, but this baby #3 is a girl, and I craved everything I did with my 1st DD, sweets, mexican, spicy! DS all I wanted was burgers, mashed potatos, steak (man food lol)

With DS all I wanted was MEAT. I barely ate red meat before I was pregnant with him, but man oh man did I crave it when pregnant with him!

1st Tri- the only thing that I kept down was pizza, that and since I found out I was preggo I have a new phone appreciation for Taco Bell Tri's 2 and now beginning of 3- Sweets!!! I must have something sweet every day as a snack. Cookies, chocolate anything.
I am Team so the old wives tale is incorrect.

omg this sounds like me exactly!! I'm team , but in the 1st same thing...i ate pizza rolls so much, and bagels...and TACO BELL was something i had to have at least 1x/week...
and now through the 2nd tri(im at the end of it now) ive loved my sweets...i don't indulge too often, but chocolate bars are my fave...halloween isn't treating me well w/all the candy we have left TWIX!!!! and i also went through a powdered donuts phase lol

Re: Mommies who know the gender of their babies...
I'm having a girl.
I've gone through stages- at the beginning I wanted juicy and sour- citrus, vinegar, pickles and SPICY!
Then it was bread and chocolate.
Now it's nothing. I'm never in the mood for anything- I think I'm just sick of eating

Re: Mommies who know the gender of their babies...
Carrying and early on I couldn't touch a salad or a balsamic vinagrette (my ultimate fave). It was carbs, carbs carbs! I loved anything with mayonaise on it. My ultimate breakfast/lunch was potato salad, pickle, and cinnamon raisin bagel with cream cheese...EWWWW
