Mommy & baby fitness classes?
Does anyone know of/ ever participated in any fitness/excercise classes with DC? I'd love to do this & am looking for some suggestions. I just read about Stroller Strides which sounds cool. Nassau or Suffolk.

I don't know of any...but I do it at home now I would love to organize classes for moms and kids. Maybe someday I will!

I was in a stroller fitness class...it was really hard-core!! We were running like a mile with the strollers and then did lunges, weights, etc....it wasn't my thing.
I also did 2 yoga classes with the baby....it was not relaxing at all. Maddie was freaking out during one class and another class I was just too concerned about her to get into the moves.

If you FM Tran92 she took (not sure if she is still doing it) stroller strides and could tell you about it.

A few of us from here are doing a class called you and me fit. It is in Commack. Its 8 weeks. We are already 4 weeks into it and it is hard. We use the babies as the weights. I am sure they are starting it again once this section is over. The place is called Once upon a time in Commack? Selden78 got us all signed up for it.
