Yes, there is a small mommy group that meets in the children's room at the RVC library on Wed mornings very informally. There is Rhyme Time there once each month, FM me for the June date. It's always on a Fri at 9:30 am and they do free play for about 30-45 min and then 15 min of nursery rhymes and songs/stories. It's for babies up to 14 mos. I forget what age they start. I'm told the Lynbrook library has the same kind of program. We have been to Gymboree in Oceanside. RVC has it's own similar program called Tumble Bees. And there's a Music Together program at St. Mark's in RVC. if you're looking for any further info, just let me know. I live in the area. HTH! Chat Icon

Andrea, gymboree would be great for you and the baby, and you can meet new mom's too who have babies the same age as yours. They start at level 1 and thats 0-6 months.
