Mommy groups in the Lynbrook area
Are there any? I would really like to meet with other moms and their kids. I dont have many friends in my area and none of them have kids! A freind of mine at work suggested meeting with other mothers and their kids. Any suggestions?

I'm in Lynbrook too. It has not been to easy in my particular neighborhood to meet other moms. I think everyone is just so busy.
I have a 3 year old and am 6 months pregnant. Would be nice to meet up with some other area moms.

I am in Malverne and would love this - I have a newborn but once he is old enough I would love to meet other moms
We are free to walk at anytime though!!

Wow I am excited about the response! I actually live in Malverne but Lynbrook is so close! We should set up a gtg. I am back to work :( so maybe we can meet up on a weekend of after work. My son is 3 months.

We are in East Rockaway and DS is 20 months. I am not from Long Island and would love to make some mommy friends.
Only problem is I am a FTWM so it's very hard to meet people when I spend a lot of time in the city.

What do you guys want to do? Meet at a park?
You're welcome at my house--I have a bouncy castle, swingset, lots of toys, etc. We could invite the husbands too if we want.

We also go to the playgrounds in Cedarhurst, Woodmere, Grand Park, the one on Peninsula (not sure if it has a name  ), and Marion Street elementary school.
I'm home with the kids on Wednesdays and we're always doing something in the AM; then there's always weekends.
Let's plan a GTG!

What pool are you speaking of? The Lynbrook pool? I never knew about it until last year, the day before labor day
We went to the park there and I discovered the pool and the sprinkler park too.
Is it a nice pool to join?
