mommy to be needs help from parents
I tried to register today for an infant car seat and stroller travel system, and was totally overwhelmed.
Can you recommend your car seat, or stroller or travel system?

I got the graco delux quatro in french toast. I looked on consumer report and was rated excellent, then dh and i went to bru and tried it out by running around the store with it. We loved it and it was also the top pick at BRU at that time.

I did not get a "travel system" since both of my SIL hated theres. I got the Graco Snugride and then I got the snap n go stroller. I absolutely love how lightweight the snap n go is and have used it for everything from daily walks, mall runs, vacation etc.

the snap and go stroller is the best purchase. It was so easy and lightweight. I hated trying to get the carriage in and out of the car for just a quick visit into the store. You might want a carriage for when the baby gets bigger. But the graco carrier pops right into the snap and go.

Re: mmomy to be needs help from parents
I wanted the Graco Snugride infant carseat. I was going to get the bumbleride flyer because I liked the stroller.
I did not even concider the snap and go. I have no room at home. The snap and go is only good with the infant carseat then I would have had to get another stroller. One stroller is enough. I also can use the stroller in a totally flat position if DS wants to nap. Which I did when he was born. It was the summer and it was perfect.
I ended up getting a travel system. The Graco Passage. I got a great deal on it because the pattern was retired. It was less than 20 Lbs. Everything else was a pain. AND now I know I was right when I take DS out of the car and take the stroller out of the car.

I agree with Sophie. I got a Graco Metrolite stroller with the snugride. It was a travel system, but the stroller is very light as well. I saw no need for a snap and go with that stroller.

I agree, I LOVE my snap n go and rue the day DD outgrows the Snugride seat & therefore the stroller. It's just much easier for me while out running errands, esp. in the winter with the Bundle Me on the infant seat.

I have the Chicco Cortina, and I love it. The stroller is so easy to open and close and glides smoothly.

ITA. DD is 14 months and I still use it. I'm sad I have to give it up when DS comes in June!!!
OH and the guy in BBB told me it is NOT compatible with the snap and go, but it is. I've seen several mommies walking around with the Chicco car seat in it.
I also have the Britax Marathon's for after the carrier and love them too!!

Thanks so much for the advice. I will check out the products that everyone mentioned.
Since you were so helpful, don't be surprised if I come back looking for advice on playpens & highchairs

I have been through a LOT of strollers and systems... I would swear by the Graco metrolite. If my son were small enough I would definitely get the travel system. I tell all my pregnant friends to get it and the ones that have love it!

I am currently using the Snap and Go. I love that thing and wil be very sad when I have to retire it. For $40 or so, it was well worth it!
We also got the Metrolite for when she outgrows the infant carrier.
