Moms expecting #2, are you getting a sit and stand stroller or a double stroller?

I was obsessed with strollers with DS#1. Now I'm in the hunt for a double stroller.

DH thinks we won't need one but I know we'll at least need a sit and stand.

Which double stroller are you getting?

I feel the Phil and Ted's double stroller is popular in manhattan. I don't love how one kid is under the other kid.

The new City Select double stroller looks ok too. I'm so overwhelmed!

Not pg yet, but I like the fact that the city select can be used as a single or a double...I'm going to check it out when looking for strollers...

The one thing about the City Select I did not like was that it is HUGE with both kids in it and really, really heavy!

It looked like a limo coming down the street!!!

We loved the City Mini Double but we didn't want a side by side.

We settled on the Joovy Ultralight Caboose which is similar to a sit and stand but lighter, shorter and has better steering.

I don't think my son will stay put with a sit n stand, he is way too active and I don't trust him to sit nicely when I am alone with both kids.

I have been wanting to check out this Kolcraft Contours tandem stroller

DD hates the stroller but will be pushed if hot or tired.
I was obsessed with the P&T stroller until I laid eyes on the baby jogger city select
Im getting that since it can easily be converted from a single to a double. Like for halloween, DD will have to be in a stroller and I will take the baby in the travel system, which the city select allows you to do

I bought the citymini double I really love everything exept the storage basket it stinks!

my DC are 18 months apart. I got a hand me down Maclaren double and I bought the sit n stand. I barely used the double. I think it depends on your child. My DD really prefered to walk so the sit n stand was great for us. When she got tired she'd sit down.

I was all obsessed with looking at double strollers too.


But now I think I'm going to wait until our little one is born. Then see how things are. If DD will sit in strollers or wants to walk all the time.


I dont want to buy a double stroller prior and then find out it doesnt work for us.
I like the city select but it's . I can't bring myself to spend that much on a stroller.

I absolutely LOVE my Phil and Ted. Both my girls love being in the lower seat- so that's not an issue at all.

I swear it handles way better than the travel system I got from Graco (which is a single). Even at 9 months pregnant I was able to easily steer it on walks using one hand.

Alot of Moms swear by the Phil & Teds. I like it too because after one is done you can make it a single.

We have a Bugaboo and my 2/3 year old loves standing on the attachment we bought for it...this is what we mostly use

We also have the Citi Mini Double for longer trips where i want DS#1 to sit down. This is great for us since it is light and we live in an apt and it folds slimly

We got a sit and stand since DD will be about 3 & 1/2 when #2 comes around.

I loved the city select but once you add on all of the options it was too pricey for us right now.

We're going to get the sit and stand that has the removable seat. so both can sit in the stroller or we can remove the back seat and my older DD can sit or stand back there.
