moms of 0-6 month olds or BTDT

DS is almost 6 weeks old. I am having the hardest time figuring out what to dress him in this summer! When I went shopping for his summer wardrobe, all I really got were TONS of onesies and one pieces and a couple of pairs of light cotton shorts. Is that enough? I feel like when it gets really hot all he will really need is a onesie, but then I get nervous that when we are out his legs will burn since he is to young for sunscreen. But I don't want him to sweat either. I think I am thinking about this to much lol, but I was just wondering what everyone else did when their kids were really little.

DS gets very hot so we keep him in a simple onesies - sometimes even a tank top style onesie. I keep him covered with the carseat or stroller shade when we're outdoors - otherwise he's kept in air-conditioning. I have some cute outfits - shorts and polos but he's so uncomfortable in them so I guess I won't be dressing him in many of those this summer. He really enjoys naked time these days

My DS is almost 10 weeks old and he's got the same wardrobe - onesies with cotton shorts and one piece short outfits. You're supposed to dress them how you would dress. I have to say that I love the Target onesies and shorts. Can't beat the price - $3.99 and they wash well.

DS is almost 6 months old, he spends most of his time indoors in a onesie or just a diaper!

ETA: He was cleared for sunscreen by his 4 month appt

Thanks ladies! I figure he will be in our house on most hot days in the AC, but I don't want to keep him cooped up all summer. I'm glad just plain onesies will do, and yes, I plan on keeping him in just his diaper, especially when he is in his crib.

DS is 10 weeks old and we keep him in onesies at home and a pair of socks if his feet get cold. When we take him out, I usually put him in a romper. I bought some rompers with short sleeves and some that had a tank on top. I recently ordered some cotton shorts he can use this summer to put on top of his onesies or to wear with t-shirts when we take him out. HTH!
