moms of 1 year olds

When they tured a year old did u still carry a diaper bag.

Or a small diaper bag just to carried the diapers and wipes in food etc ot just you pocketbook.


I was thinking about getting a smaller diaper bag.

DD is almost 16 months and I am going to start carrying a smaller bag or just throwing a diaper in my bag

DS is almost 20 months old and I still carry a diaper bag. DS goes through a lot of diapers and I always carry an extra outfit, food, toys, etc.

I stopped carrying a diaper bag a long time ago. I just throw travel wipes and a few diapers in my purse. Since DS had his seizure I now need to travel with medication and Tylenol/Motrin so I'm back to the diaper bag. If I'm just running out, I will still throw the wipes, diapers and medicine in my purse.

When i'm out with just the older one or running a quick errand with both girls i carry a very small diaper bag-holds diapers, wipes, sippys and a snack and my wallet.

I stopped carrying a diaper bag a long time ago (DD is 18 months). I keep 2 diapers and a travel size wipes in my purse and I throw her sippy cup and some snacks in there if we are going to be out for a bit. If we are just running a quick errand...I don't take anything.

I only bring extra clothes if I'm going to be out for the whole day (like at my parents on LI or something).

My diaper bags don't really look like diaper bags, so I still carry them with my junk and hers.

Kaitee is almost 20 months. She is just now at the point where she drinks good out of kids cups at restraunts(without turning it over to spill it on purpose). so I don't need to bring sippy cups everywhere and I normally don't need to change her diaper anywhere but at home. If I didn't have a new baby I wouldn't bring a diaper bag everywhere. But I still needed one up untill about 2 months ago.

Yes, he still needs it for all his stuff everyday at daycare (extra clothes, bottles, etc) and when we're out I load it up with toys. If it's a day of errands, I usually just throw it in the car so that I'll ahve diapers, but I don't bring it in and out of stores with me.

It all depends on where we go. If it's local trips and outings i'll pack a small diaper bag. If it's longer ones then I use the bigger one.

i feel like i need a bigger diaper bag then ever. her diapers are bigger, she still needs a change of clothes, wipes, jars of food, sippy cups toys, my wallet my phone etc.

my "diaper bag" is a very oversized handbag so i don't feel ridiculous carrying it around still.

For most outings, I've downsized to a smaller diaper bag. I do keep a packed diaper bag in the car though, so many times I don't bring anything other than that and I leave it in the car. If we're going somewhere all day or traveling, I'll bring a big bag.
