Moms of 2+ - double stroller - infant car seat question?
I remember with DS, I could not have lived without my Snap & Go.
I loved the ease of not having to wake him up when transitioning him from the car to the snap & go, or into the house, or whatever.
I also loved the convenience of having the car seat as a place to put him when inside someone's house.
So in my search for double strollers, I've been obsessed with one that is infant car seat adaptable, as well as comfortable for my 2 year old.
Am I limiting myself by doing this? Did you rely on the infant car seat less with the 2nd DC?

The City Mini double has a carseat adapter.

I have the double BOB with the car seat adapter---I use it a ton, in fact, he naps well in the car seat so a lot of time if we have an errand to run, he falls asleep before we get back. For me its hard enough to get out with both of them (I have a 4 month old and a 2 year old) I want it to be as easy as possible. I suppose if I didn't have the adapter I would figure out another way, but like you, it was a requirement of mine for a double stroller.

I plan on getting the Graco Quattro Tour Duo, the infant seat snaps in.

we just bought the baby jogger city select, for our Soon to be new born and our 20 month old. you can use the carseat with it

We have the indie bumbleride twin - it comes with the car seat adapter. Both my boys are very happy in it

I initially used a Snap & Go and let DS walk with me. After a couple months, whenever I needed to take them both out together I put them in a Maclaren Twin Triumph and took DD out of her infant carrier. I really love that double stroller and debated for a while whether it was worth not getting because of the infant carrier. They're not even in the infant carrier that long anyway, KWIM?
Anyhow, I'm glad I didn't pass up the Maclaren twin when looking. They grow out of the infant carrier so fast! But, if there's a twin stroller that you really like that has a car seat adapter, then go for it!

That's what I am debating. DS was in the infant car seat for at least 6 months.
Now, he likes to walk, but tires easily and ends up in the stoller.
And he is a bit wild when walking by himself. I feel more comfortable having him strapped in.
My DH works alot so I will need to take them both out if I want to get anything done.
