Moms of 2+ - episiotomy question
If you had an episiotomy with your first delivery, did you end up needing another one with your next child? Just trying to mentally prepare myself, TIA!

Re: Moms of 2+ - episiotomy question
I have heard that for the most part, it only happens the first time.
I'm praying for this to be true when we get around to #2. Elizabeth did enough damage!

Re: Moms of 2+ - episiotomy question
I did very little both times but less with the 2nd. My 2nd was bigger than my first though. First was born at 39weeks 2 days, weighing 7lbs 15 oz, 20 inches; 2nd was born at 37 weeks weighing 8lbs 9 oz, 21 inches.

Re: Moms of 2+ - episiotomy question
They cut me the first time (9lb, 5oz), but let me tear the 2nd time (8lb, 5oz). It was SOOOO much less painful the second time though.
