Moms of 2 and more - napping baby & older kids schedules

BTDT Moms, how do you handle a baby's napping schedule with the older kids's school/activity schedules?

Now that I'm back at work my mom is watching DS (4 mos). She also watches my 7yr old niece and 4 yr old nephew.

DS used to take a few catnaps throughout the day and one long nap between 2-4:30.

Now that my mom is watching all 3 of them, she has to pick up the older ones from school at 2:30.

Once they are all home, the older ones are screaming and playing so DS has ended up not being able to nap at all in the afternoon for the past 2 weeks.

His night time routine used to be that I gave him his bottle at 6:30, bath at 7:30 and down for the night at 8.

The last 2 weeks he has been a cranky, tired mess when I pick him up after work and falls asleep in the stroller. It's a struggle to even get him to take his night bottle much less bathe him for the night.

Any suggestions? My poor baby is SO tired!

Can your mom nap him in a room away from the other children with some sort of white noise? That might help.

She tried that. She pust DS upstairs and tries to have the older kids play in the basement.

The problem is that my niece and nephew are, um, let's say rambunctious, and cannot be quited.

They run up and the down the stairs (their rooms are upstairs) bc "they forgot a toy" or need to go to the bathroom or whatever.
