Moms of 8 or 9 months old: What is your DC eating for breakfast?

DS gets oatmeal with jarred fruit but lately hes been giving me a hard time eating it.

What are you giving your DC? Any other things beside cereal out there for me to give DS?

DS is 10 mon. but since 8-9months we've been giving him:

pancakes
scambled egges with cheese on bread
yogurt
Cut up banana

He doesn't like his oatmeal very much anymore. Maybe i'll try regular oatmeal with him soon.

i am in awe of this...I have an 8 mo old and cannot imagine her eating any of this right now. She is strictly on pureed food....breakfast is always a fruit and cereal.

DD eats mostly pureed fruits w/ cereal, or yogurt. She cant even handle puffs yet, so i would be nervous to try anthing more. Although I guess I could try eggs with her...

DD gets soft scrambeled egg with bread, pancakes, cream of wheat pureed fruits or jar fruit what ever I eat I basically give her and let her try and see what she likes from what she hates she sure expresses herself she either does a happy dance or spits it out if she hates it

I haven't given him cheerios yet but he has had puffs, the cheese puff things from Gerber so I am sure he can handle them.

He loves bananas. I don't mush them I just cut them thin and he goes to town.Chat Icon

Great ideas ladies. Thanks!!

Moms that are giving eggs are you giving the whole egg, just whites or just yolk?

I thought you couldn't give eggs yet.

I did give him pancakes before. He liked that.Chat Icon
