Moms of Babies with slow growing hair...

My DD is 8 months old and her hair is still sooooo fine...it actually looks bald in the back of her head. It is strait and "fluffy."

I know every baby is different, but has anyone else experienced slow growing baby hair?

When can I expect it to thicken up a bit?

After her 1yr mark and a min haircut, that I dreaded doing esp after how long it took just to get what she had....things progressed!

She still dosent have long hair...its also super curly.

my dd was a blady until about 15-18 months

I got her hair cut before her 2 year pics, even though she did not need it, and it made her hair get thicker

she still has short hair but it is THICK Chat Icon

DD is 2 and almost 4 months and has super curly red hair. . . like little orphan annie. She refused to wear a bow or let me attempt to put some of it in a ponytail (a tiny ponytail). So it basically looks like she has a fro.

Re: Moms of Babies with slow growing hair...

I have twin boys age 14 months and one has alot of hair, gave him his first haircut right after his first birthday. Thomas my other son has hardly any hair he looks like he went into the navy. He still looks adorable. Every baby's hair grows at a diffrent pace.
Look at mine born at the same time same age , and diffrent hair growth.

It's funny everytime I go out I always get oh did you cut his hair and not the other. It gets annoying after a while. Why would i cut one babies hair... lol
