DH keeps threatening a bowl on DS head and cutting because he thinks DS looks like "a long haired hippie".
We have a buzzer and I was wondering if I used one of the bigger attachments....maybe I could get my lil' man some spikey hair

I have trimmed DS's hair at home but now I realize that he needs a haircut and DS is going to take him to the barber shop for it.

We've been cutting DS's hair at home with the buzzer and the stand-offs since about 1 year. Even with him wiggling his head around, it still comes out good. Actually, moving his head around sometimes helps. It doesn't look spikey, unless he sleeps on it weird. It's just long enough to lay flat.
A lot of boys have this hairstyle, I've noticed.

I used to cut Noah’s hair at home, until it got to look like a mushroom and I wasn’t confident about cutting layers into his hair. So I took him to a kids barber and got him a proper haircut. I will take him again as the girl did a really good job. I’m not into the buzz cut look, I prefer the long haired hippy look, so the layers needed to be right.
