Moms of breech babies
My baby turned into the breech position in the last few days. It seems like I am not feeling the kicks or movement as strong. Any one else experience this? Also, did your baby ever switch into the head down position or did you have a c-section?

Re: Moms of breech babies
My 2nd son was breech until he turned on his own @ 37.5 weeks. I would have had a c/s had he not turned.
Once he was "in position" I definitely felt different movement, not any less, just in different spots!
There are exercises you can do to get the baby to turn, an external version is an option (50% success rate), and there's also a chiropractic method (Webster Technique) that many women try. I chose to do the exercises.
Good luck!

Re: Moms of breech babies
I had the external version done with my first pregnancy. I wanted to avoid a c/c (just my own personal choice) as much as possible. It's average success rate is 50%, however, it truly depends on the Dr who performs it and what position the baby is in (which type of breech.)
I was on the verge of scheduling my second one but this baby decided to flip on it's on by 36/37 weeks.
There's the Webster Technique (you have to find a chiropracter who specializes in it and they like to start "treatment" by the 37 week,) accupuncture, and home exercises you can also do.

Re: Moms of breech babies
I never felt 'kicks' with my daughter. I got headbutts. I did get kicks that would push into my pelvis bone- it was extremelly painful but didn't feel like 'kicks'.

Re: Moms of breech babies
My daughter was a breechie and I had an unsuccessful version. She had the cord wrapped around her neck 2x so she had good reason to stay put. I had a c/s, but she was never head down apparently. I definitely felt less movement than with my son who was head down and regular v-birth. How far along are you? Ive heard of the baby turning even at 38 weeks.

Re: Moms of breech babies
My son was breech the whole time and he never turned. I chose not to have a version, and when my water broke, I ended up having a c/s. Towards the end, I certainly felt him kick. It felt like he was trying to push his foot out my you know what!
