Moms of Crawlers / Cruisers
Now that Steven is crawling and cruising, he has bruises ALL over his body. Mostly on his head and of course on his knees.
Should I ask the doctor about anemia? I am starting to get a little worried because every time he falls, he gets a bruise. I can't even tell if they are going away because he gets one after the other. He looks like he was in a fight

DD has gotten her share of bumps and bruises too. She actually got tested for anemia at her 10mth visit and was fine so I'm assuming it's just normal.

Re: Moms of Crawlers / Cruisers
I was going to post something similar yesterday! I had to go to the supermarket the other day with her and one side of her face was all red from a fall and I was so paranoid at what others might think. DD is very fair so she bruises easily but they usually look really bad at first, then are okay about 2 hours later. I swear this girl needs a helmet!

If you are concerned, ask the ped. It can't hurt to look into it.

In my experience, they always end up bruising when they first start being mobile. DS started walking last month and he always had bruises on his arms and legs.

I'm in the minority.. DD never got any brumps or bruises from crawling, cruising, and now walking. (knock on wood) I would def. ask your ped. Always better to be safe than sorry.
