Moms of Girls-a question

Where do you store your DD's hair clips?
I'm looking for something cute-my collection is really growing. Chat Icon

I saw a cute one on clippiechic.com (it was an initial, with satin ribbons hanging down to clip the clips on), but wanted to see if anyone had any other suggestions.

Re: Moms of Girls-a question

I made hair clip holders by attaching ribbon across a white canvas. I tacked the ribbon ends to the back of the canvas with a staple gun. I also made something to hold her headbands by covering empty oatmeal containers with contact paper.

I can't take pics now since she's sleeping, but I'll try to remember to take one tomorrow. If I forget and you really want to see, shoot me an FM to remind me.

Me too! I use that for the little rubberbands for pigtails, and a plastic little snap-storage container for her hair bows.

Re: Moms of Girls-a question

The bows I clip onto a piece of ribbon that hangs in her room. The rubberbands I keep in her flowergirl basket on her shelf.

when dd was born dh brought me flowers in this cute little vase that looked like shoes. I kept meaning to plant a flower in it, but now it holds all dd's clips!

Right now they are in a decorative box on her changing table, but the box is getting too small very quickly - I LOVE the ribbon ideas

I just put them all in a box on her shelf. I think I'd lose my mind trying to individually place them on something.

Re: Moms of Girls-a question

I bought a clip holder at a craft fair I was at a couple of weeks ago.

It is a painted wooden plaque that has DD's initial on it- and then 2 ribbons that come down from the bottom of it that the clips clip on to.

Re: Moms of Girls-a question

I haven't done this yet but I saw something in a store where they used a picture frame. Basically the frame had 3 strands of ribbon that was secured at each end within the frame and the clips were attached to the ribbon. It was a pretty way to display them.

I make these and put 10 hair bows on it as new baby girl gifts. I use scrapbook paper and ribbon that coordinates with their nursery bedding.

I have a picture frame that I bought - I took the glass and backing out of it and hot glued ribbons to it and then clip her hair clips on the ribbons.
