Moms of girls who had a reaction to the new pampers

Up until now, DD has been fine with the new pampers.

The past week though, she's had a diaper rash that won't go away. It's not awful, but it's also not typical for her. Usually I just put Triple Paste on and it goes away. This is not.

It also dosn't look like a typical diaper rash (at least not what is typical for her). It's mostly on the top of the vagina and on the inner sides of her thighs (the part that is still covered by the diaper. I'm not sure if it does bother her or not, when the diaper is off, she is rubbing down there, but I don't know if it's just that it's bother her, or she is exploring.

Where and how did the rash look if your DD had a reaction to the dry max? It's not on her tush or anything, just around the vagina.

Chels had a reaction but it was just on the tush, I stopped using them for a while and just went back to them and so far we've been OK with them...Babydry wasn't working for her anymore..
It doesn't sound like it may be a rash from the diaper...I don't know what it could be honesty...as for touching down there, Chels now walks around naked touching it down ther asking me "what's this"

It was all over. From the tushy to the vag.

She was fine most days in the dry max.
However it seemed once a diaper rash started the pampers just aggravated it.
It was such a bright red that took over. Looked so painful, looked like a burn more than a rash.

Try switching to another brand for a couple days, see if it goes away.


We switched to Luvs because of it.

I'm thinking it just might be the diapers.

She is in Huggies overnights for bed, and there's not much of a rash in the morning. It does seem to be more aggrivated when she's in the pampers.

ETA: She's going to be SO upset though because she loves her Elmo and Cookie monster and she will ONLY wear the Pampers that have Elmo and Cookie on it...forget Ernie and Big Bird!

DS gets a rash like that, like on the egdes of the diaper, when he's been sweating, sweat and plastic not a good mix, it irritates him.

He's usually fine after a bath.
