hannah has learned how to pull out her rubber bands in her hair. i use the soft terry bands.

well the other day i was feeding her and i turned around and when i looked back i noticed she only had one pig tail.Chat Icon she was EATING the band.

luckily i was quick to do a finger sweep in her mouth to get it out, but it really freaked me out.

i dont want to cut her hair yetChat Icon

are there any type of bands or clips that will not come out when pulled?

I use the "Goody" brand ones --- that are rubber on the inside and covered with cloth. I honestly put them in her hair pretty tight -- wrap them around 3-4 times ---- because if they are in there loose they start moving around and she notices them and pulls them out.

When we got her hair cut the lady used the ones that are just plain rubber --- very small, like the ones they put in if you get twists in your hair --- and while they were very hard to get out (for her and me) they also broke her hair very badly when we were taking them out. I wouldn't want to use them every day.

What about the rubberbands you use for braces? I used to use those for my little sister (she's 11 yrs younger than me) - not sure if you can get them in drugstores anymore...

good luck!
