Moms of in home daycare
I love, love, love the daycare that my kids go to, but find it so hard to ask questions. I feel that if I was at a center then it would be easier to question certain things. Anyone else feel this way?

I am sorry, I am not really sure what you mean. What type of questions? I love my in home provider and I can ask her anything I want, anytime

Re: Moms of in home daycare
For example, we used to pay weekly. I have two kids there. Now they changed the policy and you have to pay either bi-weekly or monthly. I calculated this way and it seems that we are paying more than before. My DH is out of work now and I would love to ask her if we can continue paying the way we did before (weekly) because right now no money is coming in, but I feel funny mentioning it to her. This is just an example of one thing that has come up recently.

if you used to pay weekly and now you pay bi-weekly, how are you paying more. If you take what you used to pay weekly and times it by 52 weeks in the year, then divide that by 12, that should be the monthly payment if she wants to be paid monthly
for example - let's say you pay 200/week (200 x 52 = $10,400 annually) then take the $10,400 and divide that by 12 = $866.66 per month.
make sense?
but yes, I would definitely talk to her about it, do you have a signed agreement with her? does it speak to the payment frequency?
