Moms of May/June babies...
what is appropriate clothing for a newborn. DD was a winter baby and it was easy - footie pj's!! But summer babies seem challenging for me with the heat and air conditioning.
Any advice would be appreciated!!
Thanks :)

My DD was born 7/7 & we dressed her in cotton PJ's or a onesie in her miracle blanket.

Re: Moms of May/June babies...
A little of both. I actually kept him in mostly long sleeved onsies most of the time ( June baby) cause of the A/c..and a blanket.
I barely used short sleeved shirts.
He didnt go out much till like August, so I had some short set outfits for going outside in.
And Regular onsies and pull on pants for walks etc.

Re: Moms of May/June babies...
DS was born at the end of April and I used cotton footie pjs or terry cloth ones. He wore a lot of just plain onesies or the Carters rompers for outfits.

Julia was born 7/7 and I put footsie PJ's on her, she never liked to be swaddled or have any blankets on.

Re: Moms of May/June babies...
At night time, with the AC on, we used to dress him in a onesie, and those heavy pjs. During the day, I usually dressed him in short sleeves. We used to love dressing our son in the onesie outfits (I think by carters). They are so easy, and cute!

During the summer he was either swaddled in the hospital blankets - or the miracle blanket - and he had a onesie on underneath that.

Re: Moms of May/June babies...
Lily was born May 29th and she wore everything. Cotton pajamas, fleece pajamas, onsies, dresses, shorts, pants.... Even though she was usually in air conditioning, we didnt' keep it so cold that it was frigid. And whenever possible, I tried to just open the windows and let the fresh air in...so summer clothes were a must. I had such fun dressing her in the summer.....

Re: Moms of May/June babies...
DD was born 8/9 and she would wear short sleeve onesies when she was swaddled. A lot of the cute short sleeve outfits never really got worn When she wasn't swaddled for a short period of time we did long sleeve zip/snap up pjs with feet

Re: Moms of May/June babies...
both of my kids are June babies and both pretty much lived in short-sleeved onsies - with socks. I would also throw some pull on pants on if it was a bit chilly.

DS was born May 10th. Mostly he wore one piece rompers. I always had a cotton sweatshirt with me also in case it was cool. He slept in onesies and he was swaddled.

Re: Moms of May/June babies...
May baby here...we had her out at 4 days old....mostly in short sleeve onesies, pants and blankets. At night she would sleep in those long sleeve nightgowns and was swaddled in a blanket.

Re: Moms of May/June babies...
She wore heavy sleepers from the get go because of our central air, so she was dressed just as I dress her in the winter.

Re: Moms of May/June babies...
Nate was born June 1st. I had him in mostly long sleeved shirts/onsies when we went out. I found it was best to always carry a sweater and a blanket just in case. Some places have the AC on higher than others. When sleeping I put cotton gowns or footed PJs.

6/25 and she was in long sleeves and pants in the house because of ac. If we went out I dressed accordingly but even then in the beginning she was pretty coverd up.
