what do u do all day...my lil guy sleeps sooo much...i feel like i do nothing but feed him...and change him...when will he be awake more....

be careful what you ask for lol.i couldnt wait for dd to be more awake now i cant wait for naptime bc there is only so much you can do with them at this age ( she is 8 1.2 mths now)..honestly, i would straighten up, relax and get dinner ready - nothing too exciting. i was like you though - i always felt like i should be doing more when she was sleeping.

yeah 3-4 months they are awake more. When he was first born I used to just sit on here all day while he slept  Or get other productive stuff done around the house.

I try to relax when he is sleeping, I check emails, sort through all the digital pics I take, straighten up, sterlize, do laundry. Some days all he does is sleep and others he will be awake for 3 or 4 hours at a time....
Basically at this age, we are a slave to our newborns

Ours is up for good chunks of the day now at 5 weeks, but it varies. Every week he does seem to get more and more alert though.
Today he slept almost all day--it figures, since DH was off from work and willing to help with the baby!

Get your sleep, catch up on things becasue as the baby grows so will the demand.. so anything you want to get done, get it done now ( ex. scrapbooking)
My DD was VERY cranky when she was first brought home .. we discovered it was gas, but be thankful you have a sleeper and not a gasey baby...
Motherhood is great enjoy every minute of it!

Enjoy it  Interactive time will come! If the weather is warm try for a walk.
I did read a lot of Jodi Pucoult novels while my newborn slept this summer.

Yes!! Take advantage of the sleeping! I didn't do that in the beginning and was EXHAUSTED. Once I realized I need to nap when she did, I didn't feel like a zombie all the time.

OMG I wish this was the case. Please enjoy this time! Catch up on your sleep, chores, cooking, scrapbooking etc. It isn't easy when they are awake more!

When Megan started rolling over on her own, it was all over. Shes 16 months now and NEVER stops. I cant believe its the same child who used to sleep ALL THE TIME!

enjoy it while it lasts b/c that will end soon enough and you will wish that DC would sleep more to give you a break. I would say while he sleeps you sleep. I know its hard but you really need your rest.
