moms of newborns that are 10-12 weeks old
My DD is almost 11 weeks old and I put 6 ounces in each bottle and she has 5 bottles per day. Sometimes she will suck down all 6 and sometimes only drink 4.
How many ounces is your LO drinking in each bottle and how many bottles per day?
Also, what time do you put your LO down for the night? Are they sleeping through the night?
My DD goes down around 10 and lately is sleeping until 7:30-8. I am going back to work soon and will have to leave the house by 8 which means she needs to be up by 6:30 so I have enough time to get her ready in the morning. I think I should start putting her to bed earlier but I'm not sure what time.

Re: moms of newborns that are 10-12 weeks old
Does she have a "fussy time" at night?
I found that at that age, DS and DD would start fussing around a certain time at night, maybe 7/8 pm. I would put them to bed at that time and they would usually sleep at least 8-10 hours. If they woke up, say, around 4/5am, I would feed them, put them right back to sleep for a bit, go back to bed myself or get myself ready and then get them up.
Babies are soooo easy to get ready in the morning, is there a reason she needs to be up 1.5 hours before you leave?

The reason for the 1.5 time frame is because it takes anywhere between 15-20 minutes to eat and then I like for her to sit at an incline for at least 20 mins for her to digest.

Would putting her in her carseat count as an incline? That way she's all ready to go when you are

Re: moms of newborns that are 10-12 weeks old
11.5 weeks and drinking about 30 oz. a day. I put between 5 and 6 oz in the bottle, but he only finishes it sometimes.....he usually takes about 3-4 oz then an hour later will finish.......sooooo annoying. He goes to bed around 9 and wakes up between 5:30 and 6:30, takes a bottle then goesback to sleep until 8-9ish

Re: moms of newborns that are 10-12 weeks old
12 week old - he drinks about 30 oz per day. I always fill the bottles to 6.5 oz he will drink anywhere from 5.5-6.5oz.
I put him to sleep around 10 and sleeps until 7.
The last few nights he hasn't been sleeping that well :( waking up from 3am on and every for pacifier.

Re: moms of newborns that are 10-12 weeks old
I bf DD but she gets pumped bottles at my mom's house so I only *kind of* know how much she's drinking. She drinks two 5-6 oz bottles and then another 1 or 2 4oz bottles between 7am and 3pm. Once I pick her up, she'll nurse at least three times in between 4 and 8pm (she likes to cluster feed around bedtime). She goes to bed around 8:30 and will sleep until sometime around 2am - and even then she's not "awake" just fussing so I'll feed her instead of pumping. I wake up around 5 and I leave my house for my mom's around 5:45 and I get her out of the basinnet and into the car seat without her waking up. She will sleep in the car seat at my mom's until a little after 7 and then she gets her first bottle of the day.
Maybe you'll get lucky and your DD will continue to sleep on the way to daycare and then that person can give her the first bottle of the day.
Going back to work suuuuuuuucks!
