Moms of newborns...do you use commercial wipes, or wet paper towels?

The hospital told us not to use store bought wet wipes for a month, and to only use paper towels wet with soap and water. This is difficult and messy...does anyone else do this?

I just used wet paper towels for the first month. No soap.

At the hospital it was just a warm cloth. My pediatrician said we can use wipes and have been with no problems. She's 6 days old.

I used Huggies Newborn wipes. It gave him a rash and then I switched to pampers sensitive and had no probleksn ever since.

I started with Pampers sensitive and never had a problem. Brought them to the hospital with me

I used Huggies Newborn wipes. It gave him a rash and then I switched to pampers sensitive and had he did not have a reaction. I have been using those ever since!

I used a wet cloth for a few days...Now my DS is 2 weeks old and I use psmpers sensitive wipes

I use Pampers senstitve skin wipes

I used cotton wool and water for the first two weeks until I was pig sick of it, so I changed to regular sensitive wipes. My sons bum is fine!!!

We used wipes.

I used wet paper towels for months before switching to wipes.

We used wet cloths in the hospital and until his first checkup with the ped, which was two days after we got home, at that point the ped said it was ok to use wipes. We used Pampers sensitive at first. We've been using BRU newborn wipes for a few months atleast now and DS is 7 months old.

I used Pampers Sensitive skin and no problems.

we used viva paper towels and water for the first 2-3 months. she has really sensitive skin. then we used huggies extra sensitive and now we can use the costco brand without any reactions.

The hospital had wipes that were dry with no chemicals and you wet them and use them. We had enough of those when we left to use them at home for several weeks and then switched to store bought wipes.

My DD got bad rashes so the doctor told us to use plain white washcloths with only water. After we stopped doing this I found huggies wipes to be softer and easier on her bottom.

I used wet paper towels for a few days then I switched to Pampers Senstive wipes. Never had any problems.

we used one tub of pampers sensitive wipes and after that switched to regular wipes.

we used wipes from day one and plan to do the same with this munchkin as long as she doesnt have a problem with them

I used the dry clothes from the hospital and wet them with warm water and the alcohol free ones for like 2 weeks.

After that I used the regular wipes and never had a problem.

we used cotton balls.. with water
