Mom's pregnant with baby #2......
Did you suffer at all from baby blues early in pregnancy?
I had it bad after Julia was born for like 2-3 weeks, but I feel so down and depressed with this pregnancy, its nothing like PPD, but I just feel like crying all the time and laying in bed all day, and I'm just getting so aggravated!! I'm thinking it has a lot to do with me feeling nauseous and tired, but it will make me feel better to know others have felt this way too!
I suffer from anxiety so I'm not sure if that has to do with anything....

I'm not pregnant with #2, but I felt that way while I was pregnant. I think it was b/c I had a horrible pregnancy and it made me SO upset.
I hope you feel better, everything will be ok

FIrst of all congratulations. Whatever you are feeling is normal. I cried throughout the pregnancy because I felt bad for Sammy that it would not be all about him anymore. Once you hold your baby it all changes and you will love them both and see that Julia will be so happy to have a little brother or sister to love

YES. I had this all throughout both pregnancies actually. It would come and go from beginning to end and I would cry about different things. In the beginning I was so nervous about everything. In the middle I would worry about how I would manage everything. And in the end I would cry and cry about how I just wish it was over because I was so sick of being pregnant.

Re: Mom's pregnant with baby #2......
I felt that way for about 6-7 months...always depressed and every little thing would make me cry. My husband was worried about me and then just one day it went away. Now I am as happy as could be. I thought all my friends s u c ked and was sick of everything and didnt feel like doing anything. I was so lazy about getting things done in the house etc....
It will get better - hang in there!

I don't feel depressed, but a bit sentimental that I don't feel i'm "savoring" this pregnancy as well I as I did with my first-I am just too tired and busy.

Re: Mom's pregnant with baby #2......
in my first tri my sister told me she was worried that i had "pre-partum depression" i was a mess for literally the whole first tri, because i had never felt so bad in my life and i had no idea if/when it would end. plus, my hormones were completely out of whack - i am very sensitive to hormones, so much so that i can't even take BCPs because they make me depressed. so it definitely took me a while to get used to being pregnant. hang in there, it will get better!!

I'm the same way! I'm so sensitive to my hormones that I couldn't go on BCP's also. I think I would feel so much better if I wasn't nausaus all the time, the only time I get some relief is at 10pm, when I feel better. I hope its ends soon, and I'm happy again.

Re: Mom's pregnant with baby #2......
It sounds like you answered what is going on with you. I was very depressed in the beginning (this is my 3rd pregnancy-2nd child) due to a pregnancy disease I have. It has crippled me to no end, but I see some light at the end of the tunnel and feel very good about the pregnancy. I've made efforts to start picking names out and talking more about it. I didn't want to for so long because it's still new and the possibility of loosing the baby is still out there. i've just decided to roll with everything and let go more. Something I learned the first year of my daughters life too After you start feeling better and feeling the baby I'm sure you will turn. Hugs to you!

Re: Mom's pregnant with baby #2......
When I was pregnant with #2, DS was 6 months and I had very bad morning sickness. I was depressed and cried alot. It was toughh because I worked full time and came home with no energy and just couldn't enjoy my time w/ DS. I am sorry you are feeling this way. It will pass.

Re: Mom's pregnant with baby #2......
With pregnancy #1, I felt amazing! A couple weeks of mild morning sickness, but that's it. After #1 was born, I had the worst baby blues for a few weeks. I cried hysterically and felt so out of control. THen, poof, they were gone.
Now, with #2 (I'm about 7 weeks), I noticed that I'm very "snippy". I snap so easily, and get annoyed at my husband very easilly. I don't have any blues, but I'm def. more b!tchy. This is so different that my first pregnancy.

I'm so glad to read that I'm not alone and its normal to feel this way. We are away on vacation now and the morning sickness had been making it very hard for me to enjoy myself, I can't stop crying and feeling so depressed. I just hope it passes and I will feel back to myself again. I want to be happy about this pregnancy, but at times its so hard. I guess I got so use to just having Julia, and now the thought of doing it all over again is making me nervous.
