moms, take care of YOU too...
yesterday I was in the hospital for five hours b/c I was having really bad pain in my right side- so bad that I couldn't get out of bed or stand up straight- almost felt like I was recovering from my C/S all over again. Turns out I had a kidney stone and I was severly dehydrated- I've been so preoccupied with DD that I hadn't been drinking enough water and had been surviving on tea & coffee- make sure you all take care of yourself- it really woke me up to the fact that I cannot sacrifice MY care for the baby's.

Fell better! I know it all too well.
I ended up in the hospital when my DD was 3 weeks old with a kidney infection. I also have a kidney stone, but it was not the cause the of kidney infection. I am still going through tests and stuff to see how my kidney is doing.

I cannot sacrifice MY care for the baby's.
It's so true. You can't take care of another person if you aren't taken care of yourself. That's why they tell you on an airplane to put on your own oxygen mask before putting on your child's.
