Moms that are preggo again.....

Is it hard to bath your DC in the bath tub being pregnant? I still bathe DS in the infant tub in the sink for one b/c I hate our tub and two because I am worried it will be too hard to bathe him in the tub being preggo. We have a high tub with shower doors. I don’t know if I should wait until after the baby is born in June to start DS in the tub or just do it now. I just feel bad his is missing out on the big tub and he is getting too big for the infant tub but I don’t want to dread giving him a bath.

I've been filling it up, getting it ready and DH does most of the baths now...it is hard bending over, etc. Every now and then I'll do it if he is at work late, but he does that for the most part now.

I still do it in the big tub at 37 weeks but its not easy by any means... DH will do it for me if I'm really not up for it.

I say do whats right for you.

I bathed #1 directly in the kitchen sink until she was just about 2! She fit in there well and I could not fathom bending over the bathroom tub while I was pregnant--I hate it even now!

I'm fine with her in the regular tub, since she plays by herself and I don't really have to "lean over" except for the few minutes of washing.

Its uncomfortable to put her in our other bath, unless I go in there with her, which I often do (its a deeper jacuzzi tub).

I have a jucuzzi tub and its pretty high so its getting a little hard for me to lean over the tub with my belly getting bigger, but I manage.

I bathe him in the tub, but I've been having a lot of back problems with this pg so a lot of times I just take him in the shower with me. He loves the shower, I don't have to be leaning over the tub, and I kill two birds with one stone.
