selling my single schwinn this week in the market for a double.
i go between 3-5 miles.
i can get a good price on a babytrend expedition.
dh doesn't trust anything that doesn't have real tires...

i have a hand me down baby jogger from around 2000 - it works great for running- as it is older it does not fold well - but it has large bicylce wheels so i can take it through woods, and on the beach

I've got the BOB and I swear to God it is worth every freaking penny. It is great on all terrain and was heavenly to take to Mexico. I don't think I want another stroller ever again. When I use my little umbrella stroller I get so aggravated.

i am really really good with my strollers.
I buy and sell and always break even.
if i get one, i know i won't loose money on it...I just hate putting the money out now for it.

Definitely agree! I would buy a used one. If anything goes wrong with it, they will replace the WHOLE FRAME. My SIL just lost the brakes on her 2006 model and since they don't make it, they sent her a whole new one. She needed to put her wheels back on.
Plus, she couldn't find the reciept so they just asked for a picture and she was all set.

I am a walker. I love it. I don't miss a day. One night, before weighing in, I decided to throw baby in Schwinn. I was shocked with my endurance!! Walking and pushing those strollers is a real workout. I credit that completely.
I always felt funny that I walked instead of just running. But it worked!
however, running is my least fave way to do cardio. if it is my least fave, its probably the one I need to do

bought my sit and stand for 70, just sold it for 75.
selling my craigslist find single jogger as well.
so with both strollers, hopefully i can get something nice

i'd get a BOB or something similar. you may want a revolution instead of an ironman, if you primarily walk.

I know what you mean. I bought mine new b/c I had a 20% off at REI and I knew I'd get a good chunk back when I sell it. I wouldn't lie. It is a small piece of heaven in the stroller world. Go test one out. Amazing shocks. You can maneuver that thing through a corn maze with one hand and your eyes closed.
