Moms that Work Full-Time (outside home)-- feeding ?
How do you fit in your DC's feedings (solids, cereal, etc)? DD is 6 months and we're doing cereal at night now, but will be starting fruits/veggies next week too. I LOVE being the one to feed DD, and it will break my heart to not be able to do it myself fully. On the 4 days I work, I leave the house with DD by 7am and don't get home until just before 6pm, and she's ready for bed by 7pm. How will I fit it in? I know I'm going to have to have my MIL feed her during the day, huh?

I would think MIL will have to feed her. When I was working when Kerri was that age I missed feeding her too

Well, as nice as it would be for you to be the only one to feed her, that's not really fair to her, now is it? I know you already know that, but for now, it looks like you have to hand that responsibility over. It stinks, and I knwo you enjoy doing it, but she needs to eat during the day. Just think of all the messes you don't have to clean!

Re: Moms that Work Full-Time (outside home)-- feeding ?
its hard, i work 3 days a week, so those 3 mornings my SIL and the other women i have for my DS, gives him his fruit. I was so upset in the beginning that i wouldn't be the one giving it to him. But truthfully, their is no way around it, as I have to leave the house by 7-7:30 AM and he gets his breakfast at around 8-8:30. and dont forget that you will also feed him at nighttime as well as weekends, so you'll have plenty of bonding time with it

I hate this part of working full time. I direct daycare of what to feed him and I try to introduce new foods on the weekends
