Mom's to be second time around
Is anyone considering a natural birth after having an epi? I had an epi with my son and are really considering no medication this time around. Any one else?

my second was drug free, but not by choice. She came too fast! Natural isn't personally for me, I hope to never do it again. With baby #3 I took off to the hospital during the first contraction to make sure I had time to get the epi

I'm having a c-section again, but if I wasn't, I would definitely be having an epidural again for my 2nd. Once it went in, all the pain went away!

Scheduled c-section
I had an emergency c-section in full blown hardcore labor the first time. Had i been able to deliver vaginally, which has been determined that I cannot, I would NEVER go without an epidural. Labor sucks. Just sucks.

but I really need to see how this one goes.
Last time
Nothing was happening, then I broke my water at 6pm and 7:30 I went to the hospital, I was 8.5 cm.
I probably could have done that drug free, but was soo freaked by the whole thing. The nurse was telling me it was too late for any drugs & I just had to do a couple pushes.
People tell me I did majority of it without drugs and could have finished without.
But I dont know, that last contraction I had was

I had a c-section the first time and am contemplating a vbac with no drugs. The epidural was the worst part of my whole experience last time and it scares me more than anything else.

epi for me!!! Had it with my first and almost missed it with my 2nd (cut it real close - ouch!!). Want to make sure I am in the hospital in plenty of time for one this time! : )

my first I had an epi the minute I walked into the hospital (not really, but let's just say I never even felt a real contraction)
then, the labor slowed down. I wasn't dilating past 3 cm, they gave me pitocin, the baby's heart rate dropped, and I ended up with a c/s
i am CONVINCED that had I not had the epi so early, I would have went the normal way.
i went to the hospital too soon, also... this time, I want to labor at home as long as possible.

I had a 32 hour long labor with NO drugs. You go for it girl! I am all about empowering yourself and being in touch with your body. It was the most amazing thing I have ever done or been through and am excited to get to go through it again. I know CRAZY

I had csections, but my sister did the epi with her first birth and then had her next 2 with no drugs. Go for it if you can do it!
