Moms w/two under two (? re: naps)

My 6mo old is still doing 3 naps a day, so the 2nd nap of the day still coincides w/my 2year olds nap at 12:30-3ish AHHHH its so nice/quiet time/etc...

anyway, my question is how do I keep them napping at that time together? I have a feeling my 6mo old will fall into the 2 nap schedule eventually which is typically 9-10:30ish & 3-5:30ish, thereby leaving me with no quiet time at all!!

What is your experience with this? What do I do?

I can't comment on kids of different ages, but I put mine both down for naps at the same time (usually 9 and 1). Sometimes one will sleep a little longer than the other, but for the past few weeks this has been going really well. They are 7.5 months.

ah, the coveted double nap.

For my two (now 1yr and 3yr) it happens in the afternoon around 3pm. On a good day they'll sleep two hours.

Eliza is down to 2 naps a day (9 months). She goes down for her first nap about 2-2.5 hours after waking.

6am both kids wake up
8:30 Eliza nap #1 (about 1.5 hours)
noon Madelyn goes down for her nap (at least 2 hours)
12/12:30 Eliza down for nap #2 (1.5-2 hours)
both kids are down for the night by 7. Usually Eliza is in bed by 6-6:30, Mads by 7.

Mine are 1 and 3 but I get a double nap pretty often.
DS(1) takes his mornign nap about 8:30/9 - 10 or 11 on a good day.

DD (3) - goes for her nap around 12:30/1 and DS will often go down around the same (esp if he was up early from the morning nap)

i have 3 under 2....
my twin boys used to take 2 naps they are now at one nap a day around 2pm.
dd is almost 8 months and goes down around 10AM and i try to get her down for her 2nd nap with them @ 2PM but it doesnt always work.
Im trying to find a schedule that works for all of us.... I love that free quiet time too... Sometimes I really push the twns to hold out for their nap in hopes they will conincide but its tough...
