Moms who BF, how do you give liquid vitamins to DC?
Do you give it to them straight from dropper to mouth? The vitamin drops taste nasty straight up!
Or do you add the liquid vitamins to a bottle of milk?
I tried the 2nd method and DS doesn't seem to like the taste of the milk, it's abit metallicky (if there's such a word).

He never took them because he hated them!!! I was tired of wasting BM! I talked with the pediatrician about it and she said not to worry so much before he was 6 months, especially if I was still taking my vitamins. We were able to get them in him once he started some baby food.
Is that the right answer? I have no idea. Dr wasn't too concerned.

I just used dropper and shoved it in his mouth. He did not like it.

I never gave DD vitamins  Actually, i think I tried them once or twice and I just dropped them into her mouth and she ended up spitting most of it out.
They are nasty

The vitamins are nasty but I guess my kid is weird b/c she loved them. I'd give the dropper directly into her mouth. When she was older she'd point to the bottle & ask for them. Weird kid.

DD does the same thing!!! She LOVES her vitamins - we have always given them to her directly, not in a bottle or cup of anything else. She never had a problem with TriViSol but HATED the PolyViSol.
