What did you dress them up as?
I am looking for some ideas. My DD will only be about 1 1/2 months old.

DD was 4 weeks old at halloween last year. I went to the children's place on 10/30 and got her a purple flower costume for $2.50. She was adorable.

DD was 2 weeks old last Halloween. I found two NB costumes (a mouse and a giraffe) that were one piece jumpers with hoods. They were cute and cheap (I found them at walmart) so I bought both and used them just for picture ops

Colin was born 10/30 so we were still in the hospital.
BUT, since I wasn't sure of his arrival I did have costumes ready for them. Ryan a monkey, Colin a banana. Luckily, I sent them back to One Step Ahead 10/29 since I knew they wouldn't get used

My oldest DD was around 6 weeks for her first Halloween. It didn't enter my mind to buy her a costume, but she did have a Halloween pj/onesie thing.
My #3 is actually due ON Halloween, but I'll most likely be home from the hospital by then as it will be a sched. c-section. My older two DDs will be trick or treating, so if we're up to it, maybe the baby and I will walk with them. I'm thinking of a little pumpkin suit if I can find one...I'm not going to go crazy though. Otherwise, I'm sure I'll have some kind of Halloween shirt/onesie.

DS was less than a month old last halloween and i had him dressed as a little fishy. I got the costume for $20 at bbb.

This reminds me...DD also had a onesie with a picture of a mummy on it that said, "I love my mummy".

DS was only 1 week old on Halloween. I got him a pair of fleecy jammies with pumpkins on them that said little pumpkin on it.

DS was born the week before halloween last year. We had him in an orange striped onesie that said "my first boo" on it with a ghost. that was about all i could muster up..LOL.
this year will be fun!!

DD was about 6 weeks old. Her original due date was 10/20 and I had bought her a costume, but it was HUGE because she was so tiny (born 9/4). I picked this up...she was a pea in a pod

DD#1 was 3 weeks old and freshly out of the NICU so she didn't get dressed up in a costume. She wore a cute Halloween outfit and I took a few pics.

DD wore this...I also had another halloween outfit(like a one piece footie pj-cotton) that said my first halloween on it.
eta:pics too big, I will put in album.
eta: ok pics in album, these were taken when dd was like 9 days old by Forever Fireflys...she was 2.5 weeks old on actual halloween.

DD#2 was 5 months last year - I got a cat onesie that had a tutu on the bottom and came with a headband and a tail (I didn't use the tail) off of etsy - and she wore the onesie and the headband with tights. DD#1 was 4 months at halloween. I got a tigger costume (one piece with a hat) from the disney store - I wouldn't recommend that for a 1 month old though. I would try to go for something like DD#2 wore - it was comfy and I'm sure you can find something like that for a newborn.
You could definitely do something like this:

DS was about 6 weeks old, and I bought 2 onesies, one ghost, and one pumpkin from Walmart. I bought 2 different sizes because I didn't know which one would fit when I bought them for $3 each. I put him in those with black pants that day. Here is the ghost picture.
