Mom's who had c-sections...

How long after did you wait until you took a bath, or got the OK to take one?

I don't see my dr. til another almost 3 weeks (only had to have a 6 week post appointment) and I doubt she can tell me over the phone without looking at my incision... so I was just wondering what the consensus was out there.

Re: Mom's who had c-sections...

i took one the day after i left the hospital. you're able to take one even during your 3rd day or less. but i wasn't feeling enough strength to get up. it's difficult. now that it's been 3weeks for you.. it's def safe for you take one. it may feel wierd (down there) at first but you'll get the hang of it.

I don't think I've taken one since my honeymoon, over six years ago!

Same here. That sounds so nice...a bubble bath. Maybe someday...
