Moms who put shoes on heir infants??

How do you know what size to buy.

DS has never worn shoes before but I want to start putting them on him, so wen to the store but I had no idea what size he would be, he has big & chunky feet??

Most stores (or at least their online store) will have a chart you can use.

But I just held his foot up against the shoe and made sure it had room then tried to jam it on his foot to be sure. So far this unscientific method has worked and he hasn't flipped out on me yet.
