Moms with Cape style houses?????

If your master bedroom is on the main floor and you have 2 kids how do monitor both rooms upstairs. Do you have separate monitors for each?

I was thinking of getting this video monitor External Image because it monitors 2 rooms at once. Anyone have it? Any opinions or recommendations would be great. It is almost time for dd to move upstairs to her own room. Chat Icon

we don't have them upstairs yet.

we have 2 bedrooms up and 2 bedrooms down. They share the room next to us till they are old enough to safely walk up and down those stairs.

Alex is fine with the stairs. The other br downstairs is ridiciously small, I use it as a play room. I am so nervous to put her upstairs, I want her to be close to me. Chat Icon I guess I am going to have to take the plunge and use 2 monitors.

We use 2 separate monitors for each room (no video).

I was not thrilled with the idea of the separate floor issue, but once we moved my older daughter up it really worked out nicely. We can always hear her even without the monitor and we gate her room just in case she sleepwalks and falls down the stairs (she can open the gate anyway, it's really there so she doesn't realize she's so close to the staircase since upstairs is small)

I have a voice monitor in my son's bedroom upstairs. When baby two comes, I will have a separate monitor (voice monitor) in his room which will eventually be upstairs.

Well...I only have 1 DD, but we have the video monitor in her room.

The kids BR's are on the main floor...DH and I are upstairs.
