Mom's With Girls Re:Hair cuts
I don't want to chop her hair, I would like it to grow long while its still up to me, lol. Did anyone get their DD's haircut just for a trim or shape up? Or should I just let it grow? If its down, it is always in her eyes and drives me nuts. I don't want bangs either. Thanks!

ABSOLUTELY get a trim...my DD's hair won't grow if I don't (she's 4). It just "stops". Ask them to just trim enough for "health" and it will continue to grow...
I had to get bangs for DD because her hair grows forward...

Abby has had a full head of gorgeous hair from the day she was born. I don't want to cut it for a while. She's only 5 months old.

I trim it to keep it healthy. You'll be surprised how a little trim adds so much bounce and makes it look so much healthier.

My DD has straw-like fine baby hair at almost 2 years old. I need to have it trimmed to give it a shape. It's very scraggly if I let it grow.

Lily's hair grows in nice and evenly on its own, so I haven't taken her for a haircut yet. I do trim her bangs though...because I think she can pull them off!

Re: Mom's With Girls Re:Hair cuts
well, we cut bangs for Aly when she was aboout 18 mths because they were getting in her eyes and she refused to wear clips or anything. Now at 2.5 she doesnt mind headbands, clips whatever so we are growing out the bangs.
She hasnt had the length cut at all but I notice its growing kinda uneven and so my sister keeps pushging me to let her trim it (shes a hairdresser LOL) so I think Ill probably give in to that soon just to even it out and give it a little shape.

We want Taylor's hair to grow longer, but she gets bangs cut so they dont get in her eyes and I like to get everything "shaped up", I ALWAYS feel the need to clarify to the girl cutting her hair.....no mullet!!

same here. We just got her first haircut today at 2 1/2 years old to give it some shape. I hated cutting off what little she had, but it really needed to be evened out. They didn't cut her bangs at all because they are so short still. We asked the lady just to even it out.
