Money Gifts for Communion & Christening
DH & I have our nephew's communion and christening coming up. Both are children of one of our siblings. How much cash is appropriate to give to each of these affairs...thanks!

What about a $100 savings bond each? I think that there even may be one education related. By the time they graduate from high school the bonds will be matured.

For nieces and nephews, I usually give $100 plus a small gift.

I am the opposite. I hate savings bonds. I would rather have the $$ to invest as I want to for my dd.

Re: Money Gifts for Communion & Christening
I think this is all relative to what you can afford and how close you are to them.. etc. I hope that makes sense.
sorry.
