Mono

My doctor called to say I have mono.
Is it true? Am I really going to feel this crappy for 2-3 months or was she being dramatic? My wedding is in two weeks and I can barely walk and keep my eyes open. Anyone ever have it? Anything that made you feel better?

Re: Mono

2 weeks before the wedding!> I'm so sorry!

It doesn't have to last that long. You really need to get LOTS of rest and treat your body well and hopefully uyoui will feel better soon.

Don't worry. I had pneumonia on my graduation day and it wa strill the best day of my life! I forgot I was sick! Your wedding will be the same!

Re: Mono

I had mono, also about 2 months before the wedding. It didn't last too long. Just take it easy and rest whenever you can. My Dr. also told me to take vitamins.

When DH had it he had a REALLY REALLY bad sore throat. I didn't get that thank goodness!

I had it years ago when I was just a kid. I really felt crappy for about a week and then just sort of crappy for another week. Started to feel better after that.

So sorry this is happening now!!!

Stay in, get rest, drink fluids take your meds and get better soon!

I had mono. I have never felt so bad in my life -- BUT it was for about 48 hrs.

If it makes you feel any better, I was at work , 3 or 4 days later. So it varies I guess

Re: Mono

Ok, well, let me tell you, if you can stay off your feet and rest for the next two weeks, you should be fine. I had mono when I was a teenager and didn't take it easy and I was sick and out of school for 5 months. Not to scare you or anything, but it's really that important that you rest and listen to the dr.

Re: Mono

I had it when I was 14 and again when I was 18. I felt like no amount of sleep was enough Chat Icon I honestly felt like this for a good 2-3 months.

The first time I got it, I have NO idea where it came from..I never even kissed anyone yet. Maybe someone's cup? The second time I got it from a lying cheating ex bf!!! Chat Icon
