What an eye opener when it gives me my weekly statement and I see how much we spend on take out and other crap. We have to buckle down.

Mint.com is also good - I have it as an app on my ipad/iphone...
But watch out for those Category Descriptions. I bought tires from Wal-Mart and it categorized it as a "Clothing" instead of Auto - and promptly sent me a "you went Over Budget" message. 
Mint also texted me in hysterics to warn me I was $200 over my budget for "alcohol and bars" after I charged a really big ticket item on my credit card at "The Florida Bar."

free speadsheets
We use one from here. I agree it's an eye opener. We make very good salaries and I feel like the money just slips through our fingers!
