Monthly Check ups

I have my next appt on June 18th (I'll be 13 weeks) So what happens at the monthly checkups?

I had a sono at my first, I doubt they will do that every month (although I'd love that!) So what do they do? I'm expecting weight and BP, is that it?

Usually weight, blood pressure, hear the babys heartbeat and urine sample.

Yep, weight, blood pressure, urine test, and the doctor will listen to the heartbeat with the doppler. My Dr. gave me a quick sono at 13 weeks because she couldn't pick up the heartbeat with the doppler. And of course, come with any questions that you have.

That'll be quick! I figured it wouldn't be as exciting as the first visit. at least I get to hear the heart beat

Generally they are quick. Urine sample, blood pressure, weight. Then in with the doctor. They'll ask how you are feeling, listen to the HB and any questions. Then you're done.

Are you doing an ultrascreen? Because that is a sono in conjunction with a blood test and that happens between 11-13 weeks.

But the regular monthly appts are just weight, BP, Urine sample and the Dr will listen to the baby's heartbeat with a doppler.

I am doing the ultrscreen, but that is the following day at a different location.
