More GTG Chatter.....
is it anyone elses first gtg?
im so excited, but im also VERY VERY nervous!!!
if you have been to other ones was everyone how you expected??
i remember when i met MrsErod she said i was so softspoken! lmao, i am shy at first, then the devil jes comes out.
i dunno, just bored and felt like talkign abotu the meetup!

If I go to this one, it will be my first. I have attended LIW gtgs in the past, but it was only with the 06 girls. I must admit, I am a little nervous as well since I don't really know anyone.

I have been to a few...
some people were exactly what i expected, some weren't at all...
What makes the difference really is size
the bigger the size the less you get to talk with people
especially if you sit at a table...
once you are at a table you will rarely get to talk with people who are not close to you.....which s*cks
Smaller GTG are usually better IMO.

It definitely isn't my first GTG, and I at everyone that I've attended, I have found everyone to be very friendly and sociable.
No surprise to anyone, but I tend to be on the quiet side with a big group of people. I'm usually much more of a listener/observer than a big talker, but if you get me started, it can be hard to get me to shut up!

I've only been to the big major GTG. 2 WOTYs and bridal extravaganza.
I'm nervous about attneding a smaller one. I'll actually have to talk to people

I agree as well. I had a GTG for LIW last year in my yard. About 8 girls showed up and it was great because we were all able to talk to each other. However I have also been to larger gtgs and was only able to speak to those immediately around me.
I think this GTG is going to be a large one.

i think at the beginning of hte GTG people can be on the shy reserved side....
some people are just loud...and that is good because it usually eases that tension...
But i think that having a atmosphere where people can feel they can mingle is best...
sitting at a table is almost the kiss of death...cause then you have to almost fight to talk to people...
and getting up to talk to someone is odd
jess....i am sure you will warm up once you are there for a few...

I have never been to a GTG and won't be at this one either...but, I hope one day I will be at one.
I know I would definitely come off shy at first...but, after throwing back a few I'll be fine. And, I would be soooo nervous that no one would really want to talk to me...

I have been to gtg's from LIW -- and there's the initial weirdness of approaching "strangers" then after about 5 minutes the conversations get going and it's like running into old friends. It's unique in this way but a lot of fun at the same time.
This has happened at both large (papa joes in 2003) and smaller gtg's for me.

i have never been to one yet! and yet some how it turned into me hosting it go fiquire! yes there will be name tags and cake(nice try danellia) hehe. i was not exspecting this big of a turn out what's so ever! so if anyone is going to hold back it would have to be me. i tend to be a kid and get over excited and well then scare people off! hehe

i was insecure because i had no makeup on, didnt do my hair, and had ugly shoes on.
i remember it like it was yesterday. i was soooooooooo embarassed when you left! lol i was running late that day!
