More Hardwood Floor Questions
Thanks everyone for your replies.
I am heading toward the hardwood floors.
Do they hold up when you have a dog? Like if he has accidents?
Also- what about the kitchen? Hardwood there or should I do laminate there?

Re: More Hardwood Floor Questions
We have hardwood floors throughout and I love them. We've servived a few accidents with no damage. We have a cat and a dog and it's holding up nicely

Re: More Hardwood Floor Questions
We have hardwood floors that were covered by carpeting for about 45 years and we simply took the carpet up and have been living with them as-is ever since.
They do get a bit scratched up by the dog but we intend to refinish them in the coming years anyway. We will also be extending them into the kitchen (which currently has vinyl flooring) when we remodel it. My parents have it in their kitchen (and used to have a dog) and it has held up great.
