More on Doug. Sorry to start a new one here...but it's so very sad...
At the time of his death in 2007 he was 44 years old. According to The Advocate, Blasdell died unexpectedly after being rushed to the hospital. No official report has been released on the cause of death. According to reports, he was hospitalized in December and he went into a coma not long after New Years. While he was undergoing chemotherapy for a brain tumor, reports have stated he was in remission at the time of his death. [2][3] On February 9th, 2007, Entertainment Weekly reported kidney failure as the cause of death

I dvr'd it becaue I knew I would fall asleep before it came on....I cant believe he died!!!!!! I didnt now he was sick,,,but always thought something was wrong with him...I could tell in his eyes~
So sad!!

So sad!!
oh! hope i didn't "ruin" it...but it's not like a juicy ending or anything. it's just so sad. i'm really upset by this!

he was undergoing chemo?
but that explains why he got an infection so easliy- chemo weakens your immune system so much

If you saw the season premiere they dedicated the show to him. That was the tip-off to me so I googled him and found out he died in January.
So sad and so ironic considering he made a living through his personal fitness.

OMG! I can't believe he died. I just watched the episode last night where they talked about him going to the hospital. Does anyone else think its weird that his ex-partner had kidney failure too?
And they were talking about his birthday and how his paretns died so young.  just awful.

I think there was a very bad strong family history, and I think there may have been other complications.
