more sensitive hcg tests....
So my TTC friend in real life is always talking about "good tests" and "bad tests"... basically the ones that look for less hcg levels so you get an early reading.
Apparently some tests say early but they still look for 50 or more miu's. There are other tests that look for 20 or so.
I found this website that lists the tests and how many miu's they are testing for. The lower the number the more sensitive.
click me!!
and here's another site

haha! that's funny cause i think that's the one she tells me not to use. I usually try to double check what she says.

Yeah same here, well not the BFP part lol, and just about every time I've seen someone get an early BFP on here it's been on a FRER.

Re: more sensitive hcg tests....
the first site cant be correct cause it says ept certainty digital needs 50mIU. i got two +'s on those and i had betas of less than 50 both times...at the time i took the tests the beta may have been as low as 20 or 30..

I just looked up this test and I saw on some sites it says 25 not 50. IDK.. I guess it could be a typo or a mistake on the site.

That's why i started looking into it. Because she tells me to stay away from the FRER tests and then I see all the people on this board posting about them. She's on other preggo boards, not this one.
She knows a lot... but she's not always 100% correct... so I like to do my own research separate from what she tells me.

I'm pretty sure the FRER tests for an HCG level as low as 20 ... and that's probably as low as you're going to find!

so from the lists then, do you think the tests that say 10 or 15 are incorrect? hCG One Step Ultra says 10, then Web Womb Midstream One-Step 10-15 mIU , and there's a few others... not many.
