More Shots
So for those of us that went through fertility treatments to get here have had their number of shots and injections. I was on progesterone in oil until 11 weeks I've been on Lovenox( blood thinner) the day I got a BFP Now let's add 17P(progesterone that helps prevent preterm labor and that shot goes in your a$$) Let's not forget all the prenatal testing we do at the OB(the 9 tubes of blood they take at your first visit), the first and second trimester genetics testing.

Aww Hun I'm sorry that's a lot!! But you're right the things we do to get and stay pregnant are worth it! I remember being so afraid of the pio shots but they weren't that bad but I give you a lot of credit!!!

Yup my body has been a pin cushion since day 1! But it's all worth every shot! I too am on lovenox and my thighs are bruised as hell! Once I got pregnant and saw the perinatologist for the first time they drew 47 tubes of blood on me!! That's right 47! It's like a blood donation. Hey whatever it takes to keep these babies healthy and happy!

Omg. Yes. I remember when I went to my OB to have all the prenatal bloodwork, the nurse was having such a hard time getting a vein (and I have good veins) because they were all collapsed. I was embarrassed and felt like I had to explain myself. Sucks
