Morning sickness suggestions!-crashing
I had a DS about 8 months ago and wasn't really sick during my pregnancy. Someone I know is about 8 weeks pregnant with twins and she has been sick. She wanted to know some suggestions for morning sickness but I really couldn't give her any. Any suggestions? TIA

Re: Morning sickness suggestions!-crashing
for me the only thing that really helped was ginger gum
but i hear hard candy like a jolly rancher works
ginger ale
sea band bracelets
preggie pops
also just keeping ur belly full
it stinks cause like my nurse told us..double the babies, double the hormones, double the sickness

Re: Morning sickness suggestions!-crashing
my dr gave me a sample of something called B Nexa. It's basically ginger and vitamin B. I tried it for one day so far, and I definitely felt a difference. Don't know if its a prescription or not.

Chew spearmint gum or drink something lemon flavored. Carbs always help too.

Re: Morning sickness suggestions!-crashing
My dr told me to take a half of vitamin B6 and half of Unisom 3 times a day. I take it only once before bed. When I was really bad it eased it up alot. Now I still have MS all day, but as long as I take it every night I am ok. the 2 times I missed it I was really nauseous all day and puked at night. He told me yesterday, even at 24 weeks... just keep taking it as long as I need to that it is perfectly safe.
Other than that anything apple seemed to settle my stomach a little... apples, apple juice, apple sauce, etc. I also lived on gingerale, crackers before I got out of bed in the morning and pasta with butter and cheese from 5.5 weeks until about 14 weeks. Then started the B6/Unisom and was able to eat a little better.
